Training and Education
Dr. Leake is a graduate of the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He was awarded a surgical internship with Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, before entering a general surgery residency at St. Mary's Hospital and Blodgett Hospital. Fascinated by plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Leake chose to take on more advanced training in these surgical techniques. Accomplishments and Awards
Dr. Leake has more than 30 years of surgical experience in the Atlanta area as a plastic surgeon. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Leake has served as president of the Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons, president of Kennestone Wellstar Medical Staff, and chairman of the Section of Plastic Surgery at Kennestone Hospital. Dr. Leake is also a FabOverFifty® premier surgeon.
Although he greatly enjoys being a cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Leake's true passion is helping children overseas with birth defects through his work with Rotaplast International. He travels overseas every year to the poorest areas of the world to help these children.
